A LITTLE ABOUT ME…
My career in design has a blended background that consists of my love for the welfare and betterment of the people in my community, my passion to create useful and lovely products, and my devotion to continuing my education as design standards evolve. I began my career in publication, marketing, and advertising design. I earned my degree in Print Media and worked as creative director at a local publishing company before I began freelancing as a senior-level graphic designer. I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, earning my UX/UI Design certification to expand my toolbox to include user interface design and design thinking methodology, concentrating on human-centered design principles that create more useful and engaging user experiences. I additionally studied ecological design ethics at the Permaculture Institute of New Mexico, earning my certification in permaculture design. I have observed patterns in nature, in the people in my community, and in graphic design that mirror each other and give me a unique outlook on my creative process which helps me to better connect with my client’s audience. I create meaningful and engaging messaging for my clients by ensuring that each solution is thoughtful, purposeful, and human-centered. I would love the opportunity to work with you.
